The purpose of The Foundation for Minneapolis Parks is to develop, maintain, improve, expand, enhance, support, preserve, fund, encourage and sustain Minneapolis public parks operated and owned by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) for the benefit of its users and general public.

The Foundation for Minneapolis Parks works with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board as well as other community leaders to ensure that our city's park system continues its legacy of service to all. Thanks to our donors' planned giving and endowments, Minneapolis remains a beautiful place in which to live, work, and visit.
